In Japan, broken pottery is repaired with Gold glue according to the ancient kintsugi technique. Where we throw away broken vases, they repair them in Japan. Kintsugi means 'connection with gold'. This technique does justice to the unique history of an object by emphasizing the craks and fractures instead of denying and hiding them. God's light can shine through your broken vase.

How the story of the anime Violet Evergarden changed my life.

Violet Evergarden is a story about a girl who grew up in war by her Major, wen the only one she had known from her childhood that took care of here died. She felt empty as never before, and started to question what love really is about. This qeustion for over years was something that I silently opressed. I've felt abondand and feeling rejected a lot of times in my life, so that's why didn't expierend love, and not to talk about trusting others.

I think it was some months before I saw this movie, that I spoked about my feelings, and how I was never able to express my real feelings and emotions. This causes my most of time a lot of frustration and a bad temprament. I took with my a lot of angerness and anxiety with me, not knowing where this all came from. Untill I was allowed to express my true self and not to be judged about it. That moment that I could let go of al the kept feelings that I boiled up inside, I started to realize that I never allowed myself to feel. The story of Violent Evergarden express this very well.

She was on her way to write here feelings down with here iron hands in the form of letters. Untill at someday she discoverd what true love is really about.

Toen ik deze Anime begon samen met een goede vriend van mij, zat ik midden in een geloofscrisis. De liefde van deze goede vriend van mij en de gesprekken over het geloof en wie God is, terwijl we deze serie keken. Hierdoor ontdekte ik wie God was, en hoe groot zijn liefde is voor mij. Zoals Violet Evergarden haar Major bleef zoeken, zo bleef ik zoeken naar de enige echte ware heiland. Jezus Christus mijn Lord and savior.

Faith is in every aspect of life. In the big and the small things.

Writing with this pen takes a lot of time, but it does makes you think about the number of words you want to use. What should be said and what should not be told. Let's celebrate life in the same way, what is important and what is not? What things do we really need? And which things are just ballast? Ask yourself. What is an added value, and what gives you positive lights in your life, and which things are making you feel bad? Think about it. Often the things that are the most valuable to you are also the once that took the most of your time. Material is relative. What you do with it is what gives it value, like this pen that is writing down its words. The same goes for your talents. What you do with it is what gives it value. Moreover, don't give away all your pearls. Don't make things too complex, accept things in their simplicity and be critical. Don't make your choices based on people's expectations, but don't fall for pride and dishonor either. What people think of you should not determine your worth. But protect your honor, by doing the right things. Try writing gracefully. You see, that requires attention, concentration and time. The more time you spend on something, the more value it is.

Character is build over time, that's why it has his value. Try to gather knowledge and insight like proverbs discribes. Do not look for honor and dignity in the eyes of man, but in the eyes of God. Because God is with you every single breathe of your life. Think carefully about what I'm saying now. The means must serve its purpose. Because what good has it means if it missed it target? Exactly nothing at all. It's leftover air. Therefore, invest in yourself and in others in time, create moments and above all, love. Choose your friends carefully. Because there will be people in this life, who will want to associate with you to gain advantage from you. Like your wealth, character, choices, situations and circumstances for there one gain. Sincere love is very rare. So look for everything that deservers honor and praise in the eyes of God. And you will find love within. Let yourself be found, my love.
